![]() ![]() The central routing node only stores the status and routing information of all data nodes, which are indexed by the Trie Tree structure, so query time meets the requirement of online query. In this paper, we propose a distributed cloud storage system based on P2P, where a central route node is introduced to improve the resource query efficiency, so clients can find data using only one message compared with Chord's log(N). Scalability and Latency are the two important performance indicators for the distributed file system, and Google and Apache have achieved a great success with GFS and HDFS when operating big files, but the latency is too long when reading and writing small-size files, because the concurrent I/O can't work for small files, besides the master node is difficult to extend in the cloud storage system with Master/Slave structure. Through experiment performance test in the smart TV application, the concurrency and scalability of the proposed services methods and strategies are verified and analyzed. These services are evaluated by LoadRunner that is a tool of behavior predication and performance load test. In this paper, with cloud computing techniques integrated, we present reliable and scalable services for VOD system, which involves content service, streaming service and cloud storage service based on Hadoop Distribute File System (HDFS). Nevertheless, as the number of users and media files grows rapidly on demand, the load balance and storage capacity of servers become the bottlenecks, and it is necessary to rebalance the load and mass storages to improve system performances and user experiences. Nowadays, with the high market-penetration level of Smart TV achieved in the globe, VOD has become one of the main online applications on TV. The evolution of Video-on-Demand (VOD) technologies have revolutionized the way watching TV changed from passive reception to user-empowering. ![]()
